Water Supply to Cities and Villages

Client: Ministry of Water and Agriculture (MOAW); 1st Wasia Project; part of a larger project located
100 Km East of Riyadh for water supply to the city.

Number of drilled Wells: over 200, spread all over the Eastern part of Saudi Arabia, from the Rub Al Khali area to the Northern region

Clients: LUKSAR (Lukoil, Aramco, Ministry of Petroleum), SRAK (Shell, Aramco Ministry of Petroleum), ENIREPSA (ENI, Respsol, Aramco, Ministry of Petroleum) and SSG (Sinopec, Aramco, Ministry of Petroleum) These 4 Joint Ventures were created by the Saudi Government with the intent carry out Gas exploration drilling in the Rub Al-Khali; four concession areas were assigned for this purpose.

Hydrogeological Studies of Key Aquifers

Clients: GTZ, GIZ/Dornier Consulting (on behalf of the Ministry of Water and Electricity); drilling services for the study of several aquifers with regards to the hydraulic characteristics, reservoir estimation and water quality. During this project Hajjan Drilling Co. drilled the deepest Water Well in Rub Al-Khali, reaching a depth of 2,665 m, with a production rate (flowing Well ) of 454.2 m3/hour (2,000 gpm) and a surface water Temperature of 97 °C.

Client: AATC- TE –BRGM Consortium (on behalf of the Ministry of Water and Electricity); broad study on water Quality and Radioactivity content in the aquifers of the Eastern Regions of Saudi Arabia, from the Jordan to the Yemen borders.
